Today, in oncology, new molecules reach patients only after 10 years of research and several hundred million euros invested in R&D.

This means fewer drugs available for patients and high costs for healthcare systems. This means fewer drugs available for patients and high costs for healthcare systems. At Orakl, our mission is to bring revolutionary treatments to patients faster and at lower cost.

Orakl Oncology is a start-up company based in Kremlin-Bicêtre and is the result of almost ten years of work at the Gustave Roussy Institute. Our mission is to transform oncology research by finding the right patients for each treatment. We can do this thanks to our patient avatar technology, which combines cutting-edge biology with clinical and molecular data. By running tests on our collection of avatars, we can anticipate the profile of responder patients, helping to speed up and disrupt the work of researchers.

The “MicroResist” project aims to address this crisis by developing new technologies to solve two fundamental problems: the need for personalized antibiotic treatments and the lack of new antibiotics. By combining cutting-edge microfluidics with personalized medicine and drug discovery, we aim to develop devices that will help doctors choose the best antibiotic type and dosage for each patient and allow scientists to rapidly develop and test radically new classes of antibiotics.

These innovations will accelerate antibiotic discovery and make personalized treatments a reality, bringing us closer to overcoming antibiotic resistance.
